and WE'RE OFF..... Almost

I can't believe it almost time to crowd into a packed Expedition and head off to PA for our whirlwind vacation. Madison has had diarrhea, I think she is allergic to the thought of vacation! SHe seems to be fine and isn't bothered, but could you imagine that is a swim diaper? Hopefully she is done and she seems to be.

The Crayola Factory will be our first stop this afternoon. We will then have two days at Sesame Place. And if it rains, I'm sure there will be some shopping to be done. =o)

I am at work (my 3rd 12 hour night shift in a row)and get off at 0730. We are supposed to leave around 0830 in the am. I just hope I don't snore to loud or drool too much on the way there!!

EHMO, COOKIE, BIH Bir, OSTER... HERE WE COME!

A Few updates...

``Madison has been busy as usual. She loves to build with blocks and learns many new words each day. We went to the doctor on Wednesday for her 18 mo. well-check. (18.5 mo) The doctor was really impressed wth her. she was running and skipping an jumping. She kept telling the doctor "bye, bye-bye, no-no, and go!" She pointed out all of her body parts and when to doctor said she was all done she said "ALRIIIIGHT!!"

Madison weighs 22# 3 oz and I think they said she is 32 inches tall. She is still in the 25% for weight, and 50% for height. We got the all clear. As we were on our way out the door Dr Welham caught us and said Madison is reay for potty training!!! She states "All her gears are turning." So I guess we will work on this when we get back from vacation.

Yes, I did say vacation!! We are finally set to leave on Tuesday morning. I should look reaaly cute fter working all night, but it should still be fun. ELMO HERE WE COME!!

Daddy also bought Madison a butterfly costume for dress up. We put it on last night and she didn't want to take it off. So, we headed to Bloom with our little butterfly.

I think next summer is definalty going to be a blast with Madison. I have decided we are going to plant a flower garden for her. SHe love floweres, and rocks! Better go for now. Look for updates and pictures after our vacation. We will return on Thursday evening.

BEWARE BLOOM SHOPPERS!!!

Recently, customers have been spotting insects (of the flying kind) in BLOOM. The love the produce section. They have been known to climb in the cart of the unsuspecting shopper and eat there selections. Customers often get home to find their food has been taste tested. So, be on the lookout.

Here are a few pictures snapped by some of the shoppers who were lucky enough to notice the attack...

JUMP!!!

I know I have said that Madion is a waterbug, but now she has demonstrated that she has no fear! She loves to jump off of the side of the pool. I even let her go under the water with her water wings on. She came back up, blew a little and then said "gain." Of course I forgot my camera! Go figure... She continues to spout off words that I didn't quite know were in her vocabulary. i think she is gonna give us a run for our money. She is also sporting some new crib sheets. I wish I had some that nice for my bed =o) I know I have posted pics for this update, but I can't remember what they are of, so bear with me. Enjoy and I'll be back soon I'm sure =o)

A Look at the 3 P's....

Madison is growing fast. It intriques me to watch her grow. Aaron and I are often in conversation about what she got from who. Some days she looks like me, others she looks like he spit her out. I have put up a few pictures of Aaron and a weenie, and myself, and then a few new pics of Madison. Decide for yourself and let me know what you think!

Mac N Cheese and Stinky Feet

It seems like we are finally getting back on track. We got to play together with the "twinadoes" today. We went to Olove Garden and asked for the usual, 3 highchairs please. Madison loves the mac n cheese there b/c she puts it on her thumb... who needs a fork? The twins were sleepy so Madison and I and a few not so lucky diners set off to dodging food and sliverware. When they were done with that they started to bang on the table with their cups. We finally got them calm and wouldn't you know Madison looked at me then at the twins and started to slowly bang her cup... She was trying to get them going again!! It;s hard to believe we used to lug them all around in carriers and now they are already plotting against us.

We then went to K-Mart... What a mistake! That place is the biggest peice of trash. I set out to buy Madison some crayons, and of course she fell in love with the dress me Elmo, but we left empty handed b/c I just couldn't make myself give any money to a trash pit like that.

Then we hit the playground infront of our house. I learned something very important about Madison. She is going to be a puddle jumper!! She found the only mudpuddle in the place and wrecked it. SHe was muddy up and down both legs and on her belly under her shirt! She then stuck her feet in a dirt pile and let the dirt slide between her toes. She also likes to collect rocks. We ended up hosing her off in the yard before bringing her in the house. Can you see this playing out in a couple of years? Look out grandma!! =o) All in all a good day, tons of fun!!! Madison sends her love!

Calling all sitters!!

We were in a little bit of a bind for Monday with Madison... Apparently she has supergerms and has really gotten the best of her grandma Linda, and now my mom is working on it too. Aaron had to work, My grandma was busy with other children, (and Madison would have wore her out all day) and I had worked all night sunday and had to work all night monday. So, I was going to be home, but needed to sleep if possible. Because we have the wonderful family and friends that we do, we were able to pull it off, and I got my beauty sleep.

A big thank you to Grandpa Ed for taking daddy to the train and keeping Princess until I could get home in the morning with Cameron. Madison wasn't even excited to see me when I got home b/c she was so happy to have grandpa there. She also thought it was really cool that Cameron was at her house too. Little did she know her day was about to get a lot more exciting. Cameron isn't quite old enough to be alone with Madison all day, so Rachel and Adrianna came over. They had a blast, but I think the girls wore them out! They both appeared to need a nap. i can't wait to hear all the details of the day. Then my mom came over after work to relieve Rachel. What's the saying... "It takes a community to raise a child..."

And, GRANDPA CHANGED A DIAPER!!! ~You heard it hear first!! LOL =o)

Great Day... Pitts Family Cookout

Yesterday we had a cookout with mom's side of the family for the most part and a lot of friend's. Madison acted like she was 3 years old, not one! She was up and down the slide by herself, with just a hand nearby to catch her if needed. She hung with the big kids in the pool too. She even went under and came up like it never happened. Towards the end of the day Hailey came over with her mommy. She is almost 2. Madison shared her popsicle mini's with her. THey are perfect for little ones. After running the entire backyard, swimming and sliding for 5 1/2 hours Madison slept in until 11am today! I think she was tired!! It was so much fun. Madison also grabbed a peice of brisket off of my plate and started to tear it up. This is my child who NEVER eats meat! =o) Now if this cough would just leave already! Oh yeah, Get well Grandma. Madison says she misses you.

Water Bug!

Madison is quite the water bug. We had a nice treat today... being that it was Friday. "Ma-Maw and Poppy" were off and we went over to play. We had a blast. Madison was spoiled rotten as always, and Poppy even changed a diaper!! Mark that one on the calender. Grandpa that means you're up! (Of course eating out with the sesame street gang may make that null and void!) Dad found these awesome little popsicles called "minis" and Madison was eating them 2 at a time. We also went swimming at "G-mom's" (Cassie's) Oh yeah, and one more special treat... Madison got to meet my older brother's mom today. She bought her the "John Deer Barbie" This is Madison's first barbie. Well, Better get to bed. Tomorrow's a busy day!
