Kings Dominion

Today was a blast. Carrie and I got season passes with the kids and headed to KD. It was a lot of fun. All three of the kids were so excited and rode all kinds of stuff. It was one of those days when we both got a reality check that the babies weren't babies anymore. All in all tons of fun and excited about the summer with the water park!

Growing up!

Today I was shopping while Madison visited about an hour with her cousins and I found flip-flops at the disney store. Anyone who knows Madison knows she won't let you near her with anything that goes in her toes, but I thought since they were Cinderella maybe she would give it a try. The fact that they were on sale for 2.99 was even better. I took then=m and gave them a try and sure enough... she is walking around in them as I type. Check out these cute little toes!

Easter!

MAdison made out on Easter. That stinkin Eater Bunny stopped at our house and both Grandmas' houses! Lots of movies, a kimono from Japan and even a little candy! We went to dinner with Papaw and mamaw too... Of course I had to work, but it was still nice! I think the easter bunny came to our house last. I must have scared him when I got in from work b/c I think I heard some shuffling around and there were eggs dropped all down the steps and they led right to Madison's basket. W+She had a blast retrieving them...

Sorry they are late...

Collage of days...

Happy Easter to all! I am once again a little tardy on blogging, so here goes.

Mamaw, Madison and I have been working really hard to get ready for a huge yard sale full of baby cloths, household items and more and getting the house organinzed so that we may have a chance to sell it. On Firday we took and little break, and the Shoe Fairy paid us a visit. She came over swept us up and bought 6 little pairs of shoes for one very cute little girl! So thank you shoe fairy... you know who you are. I also have the inside scoop from a little easter bunny in Japan that Madison is getting a very cool present from there!

I had this bright idea to stay up all day Saturday and take Madison to the Spotsy Egg Drop and let her experience her first eg ghunt. We live 10 min away and left the house at 12:00. It took us 50 min to get there and when we did they told us that the parking lot was closed and we had to find parking elswhere. I found a makeshift spot, grabbed Madison and ran out of the car and up through the fairgrounds to get Madison's registration turned in. We got there they gace her bracelet for her hunt and told me which way to go. I was frantically trying to get her there. it would have been nice if they had told me it had started already. As we showed up the kids we coming out! We ran into Jason and Ada who managed to get7/10,000 eggs. Poor Madison missed it! I felt so bad, thank goodness she isn't quite old enough to know yet. She did go up a lady holding a basket of about 40 eggs and stick her hand out and say please only to have the lady jerk the basket up and walk away... I mean really... isn't this about the kids? I was livid. Ada was nice enough to give Madison an egg though and it made her really happy. Madison spotted an egg on the ground, sans candy, and ran to it and said "I got it" She was so sweet. We did manage to see a firetruck, watch a helicopter drop eggs from the sky and see an easter bunny. We also saw a minature pony, bunnies, chickens, and more and get to ride a pony! Madison thought that was great! I took lots of pictures and a video. I didn't have time to load them all yet, but I'll put up a few now and more later. Aaron and I are going to color eggs with her this week and let her have her own egg hunt at home. At this age it doesn't matter that Easter is over... Next year will be better planning!

Fuzzy Toes...

Tonight Madison got a hold of some of mom's foot spa stuff and went around the house taking everyones socks of and pretended to do our toes. She was making her rounds and got to Poppy last. She helped him remove his socks, got really serious and prepared to work her magic. She started as she had on everyone else and stopped fairly quick... "oh no, Poppy's toes fuzzy! oh, no! Got hair!" Then to make it even better she tried to pull it off his toes and put it wear she thought it belonged... His head!!! Silly girl!

Today concluded our art class for the month... It was fun. Madison got to do a lot and I worked on my art skills too... We will miss it but will attend at some other time. Madison and her little buddy Ella are working on their next adventure... Stay tuned.

Picture overload!

Today was a great day! The weather was beautiful and just right for a little fun with some friends. Madison and I met our friends, Vanessa and Ella and Rachel ad Adrianna for an Easter Bunny breakfast. It was a great deal. For $6.00 the kids got to do a craft, decorate a cupcake, have breakfast (donuts and apples) and meet the Easter Bunny! It was great! Of course you know Madison was the first to get to the Bunny! Later we ran some errands and found some great deals! I found Madison a roller suitcase with a Cinderella pillow, sleeping bag and flashlight for $3.00! We went to stride rite and got Madison's sandals and then came home to play outside. Madison loves bubbles so I got her a bubble machine and there were bubbles everywhere! She had a good time. We played for about 1 hour and a half. Madison befriended some older kids on the playground and even found time to meet a little dog named Peyton. All in all a great day! The only spoiler was that it appears my pink eye has returned!
