Snow Bunny 2009!

Falling behind again...

Wow, it is getting harder and harder to keep up in the blogging world. We are rounding the corner on age 2 and hitting the homestretch to age 3. It's crazy to think my little girl will be 3! I am not sure how it happened. It seems like just yesterday we were bringing her home from the hospital. Now she is just about up to my waist in height and wears a size 9 shoe! She has hair as long as mine and opinions all her own. SHe is turning in her why's for what's at this lately. I think I like it better even though it's funny b/c she looks right at you so you know she heard what you said. We went with Grandma Linda to Mary's Cakery and Candy Kitchen in KG to order her birthday cake. She met Mary herself! And, Madison worked her magic on her as normal. Mary is going to come up with a masterpiece cake. "It has to have bugs on it, Mary." Straight from the mouths of the birthday girl. Madison is still enjoying dance too! She argues a little with her teacher, but is getting better. The last argument was over walking like a bear, or hopping like a frog. Needless to say Madison hopped like a bunny! She also dreams a lot lately. I got home from work Sat morning with a terrible headache. Madison woke up and called for my mom and told her "Mommy doesn't feel good, mommy is sick." A little freaky, but who knows, maybe mom's and daughters are connected stronger than we think!

Let her dance...

Today was Madison's first dance class. It was every bit as much fun as I had thought and more adorable than I could have imagined. Three sweet little girls hopping around in tu-tus (?sp) Madison was thrilled with herself. So much in fact, she spent the first 10 min of class looking at herself in the mirror! I am so excited to watch her grow and develop. It is something she loves to do anyways, so she should do well. The best part is that they have a recital at the end of the program in June and she gets to wear a costume! I am so excited. We will keep you posted on our little prima ballerina!

Pitter Patter

That's all I have heard this evening. Madison is all signed up and ready to start dance class tomorrow at the American Talent Training Center. She got her little outfit and shoes/slippers today. She loves them! I'm not sure who is more excited, Madison or Mommy. She is dancing away in her little ballet slippers =o) I will have to keep you posted on how it goes.

I know I am way behing AGAIN... still need to say farewell to 2008 and ring in 2009. Hope to do that this week!
