Late entry, October 16. 2007:
So, I am behind again. Today is Aarons' birthday. I taught Madison to say Happy Birthday old man! It's adorable. It comes out more like "Happy Dirday Ole Mane!" We went to Outback for dinner with ma-maaw and pa-paw. Madison was a huge eater. She couldn't get enough! She had bread, broccoli, tomatoes, cucumbers, pickles, grilled cheese and even a little steak! I am so happy to see her eating so well! Her Daddy is 29... almost 30. I gues next year he'll just be 29a. lol!
Afrter dinner we took Madison outside to feed the ducks and geese. SHe ran to them full force. SHe loves animals and always gets excited to see the ducks and geese. She even had them eating out of her hand! Take a look...

Shake your buns!
Madison is learning so fast! She is dong this new thing when you tell her "shake your buns" she squats down, puts her hands on her knees and twists her hips! It is adorable! She also learned where her eyebrows are and can say the word pretty gppd. She talks so much. You can have an ok "conversation" with her on the phone! My baby is growing up! I try to tell her to slow down, but she won't listen.
Her hair is really growing. She even has a new option for a hair-do. What do you think?

A little paint to go around
So, A little painting was in need at the Brumbaugh house. Our homeowners association has finally deceided to try to put our failing neighborhood back together. In one reapecrt they are throwing a block party on saturday right in front of my house! I'm a little less than thrilled, and will be sure to let you know how that goes. On the other hand they are sending out citations on everything that each house needs to rectify. Ours said something about the grass/weeds, deck, and that our trim, door and copper roof needed painting. they also said we needed to remove our window ac unit in the loft. Yeah right. If I recall correctly we own this house and pay a hefty morgage for it. I don't thaink that will happen! So mom and dad came over and painted. Well, they had a little help! Check out our little painter!

Baby in a box
Now where did i put that return receipt? J/K Isn't she funny. She did this all by herself. I almost peed myself laughing. Madison continues to learn new words and suprise all the time with her inteligence and charm. She has been a true blessing. Daddy comes home today!
Just incase there is anyone who reads my blog that doesn't read Manda's, if you would like to donate to the Ronald McDonald House of Fairfax in her sweet baby Aleah Marie's name, please refer to the link on the right hand side of my blog for the twin ladybugs and help to keep her memory alive through support for other families that are using their resources.

stopping to smell...
the flowers!
Today Madison and I met ma-maw at you guessed it, Cracker Barrel. We had to discuss one of Madison's Christmas presents. Ever heard of the My Twinn dolls? I was told about them at work over the weekend, did a little research and decided she needed one. Aparently so did ma-maw... and ma-maw. That's right, without a little communication she would have had three! I wonder if they would all have looked alike? hmmm.... Great minds think alike.
Madison loves flowers.Every time she sees one she wants to pick it and carry it around. If we won't let her pick it she atleast has to smell it. I's sweet and makes for some good pictures! I'm sure to be thrown in the looney bin for excxessinve pcture taking. I am so a first time mom. Not only do i take the camera everywhere, but i take multiple pictures of the same thing. Aaron says it will take Madison 5 years of her life to look at all the pictures I took in just her first year. I think she will appreciate it.
I kept a mommy journal until I started this blog, so if anyone knows how to get this thing on paper, I would love to have it for her later.
Daddy sounds like he is doing well in Atlanta. He calls throughout the day to talk to us and check on Madison. He says he can't wait to get home to Madison, who happens to be walking around the living room with a towel on her head right now. She has a cold too. I think I might be trying to get it as well. Sneezing and a headache. Madison coughs some and sneezes and has a nasty nose, but seems to feel ok. It's funny how other people's kids snot can gross you out so bad, but when it is your own childs it isn't so bad. I just refuse to walk around town with a child who's nose is running down her lip, or smeared and crusted all over her face. ever heard of tissues? Makes you wonder how often they change their kids diapers too??
Pa-paw is out of town too... or should I say out of the country... Madison says hi and hurry home soon. Yuv you!!
the flowers!
