Madison and Poppy put up the pool

I am behind again! It all happens so fast! I think back to when Madison was just a little tiny thing that couldn't talk or move much on her own and wonder how I ever thought THAT was hard! 3 is hard! Fun, but it presents it's own challenge... especially when your 3 year old is smarter than you. (Shhh.... don't tell her). Two fridays ago Poppy and Madison spent most of the day putting up her pool. They started with the tiller and then raked and gathered rocks. madison was a big help. When the trailer of sand showed up Poppy's helper sort of lost her train of thought. A bucket and a shovel (and some sunscreen) and she was happy to play for hours! She refocused when Mamaw came home and it was time to fill the pool and get the wrinkles out. Madison thought this was great!! She used it as an incredible slip in slide! In total about 7 hours of prepping, grading, smoothing and then filling, and the pool was up! Would you believe it collapsed the next morning?! But Madison never knew! It was up and running before she came home again from Daddy's!
