Fast track to potty training.

Madison is wonderful about going pee on the potty every time we ask her to go, but she is still going some in her pull-up... I was thinking about getting a timer to help me remember to put her on the potty at timed intervals. Any other suggestions?

Does she tell you when she needs to go? If she doesnt, I would just wait a little bit. She is doing great for her age and you dont want to rush her. Otherwise, if she is, you may want to consider doing a couple days with the gerber plastic training pants...they dont absorb the pee, but they do hold it in to prevent big messes...the pullups are very absorbant, and she is a smart cookie. I used have kids that would wear underwear and be fine, but the minute you put a pull up on them, they would pee in it because they knew they could...just a thought! You are both doing great! :)

One Step Ahead has a potty timer watch. I think it's around $20. I haven't tried it, but it couldn't hurt, right? we've had to put potty training on hold. Everyone had a stomach bug last week and there's no way they would have made it to the potty so we didn't even try. As for the Gerber plastic pants, we've used them at home. The girls definitely know they're wet when we use those!
